The JLE try to engage the JSA without blowing their cover and without serious injury to either side, but Major Disaster causes Coldcast’s electromagnetic powers to overload and that, in turn, causes Kasumi to gravely injure Hawkgirl. The two teams disengage without further incident, but Batman tells Kasumi, who's revealed to be Batgirl in disguise, that she must leave the team. For passing their test the JSA, Coldcast’s crew gets a face-to-face meeting with the head of the Aftermath.
