In the scorched ruins of the Death Metal universe, Nightwing, Hawkgirl, and Detective Chimp push deep into the wasteland on a desperate quest to reach Perpetua’s throne—where freeing the Legion of Doom might be the only way to break her grip on reality. But their path leads them to an unexpected ally: Lex Luthor, whose motives are as twisted as the world they’re fighting to save.

In "Doom Metal Part Two," Cyborg and Starfire return to a shattered Earth, now a desolate ruin under the Death Metal regime, joining forces with Nightwing, Hawkgirl, Detective Chimp, and Lex Luthor in a desperate quest to locate Perpetua’s throne and break the Legion of Doom’s grip. Meanwhile, Martian Manhunter faces off against the relentless Mindhunter in a battle of wills and wits.

In "Doom Metal Part Three," Luthor and Nightwing forge an uneasy alliance to break the mind control of their captured teammates, then push forward as the full Justice League races to rescue Martian Manhunter and the Legion of Doom from Perpetua, Mindhunter, and the Omega Knight.

In "Doom Metal Finale," the heroes face an impossible choice: rally the Legion of Doom—now free but furious at Luthor's betrayal—to fight the Omega Knight, or risk the universe falling to the dark knight's wrath. With trust shattered and old grudges flaring, even the most desperate alliance hinges on whether vengeance or survival will win out.
