Justice League Dark #34
Deadman takes center stage on Mikel Janín's striking cover, the red-suited, white-skinned hero standing resolute as an enormous, lightning-wreathed demonic entity looms behind him with massive clawed hands spread wide. Below his feet, two fallen figures — a dark-haired woman and a green-haired companion — lie motionless amid what appears to be tangled vegetation, raising the stakes considerably. "Paradise Lost, Conclusion" promises a dramatic finish to this arc from J. M. DeMatteis and artist Andres Guinaldo, and the cover alone makes a compelling case for what DC's supernatural team was up to in 2014.
