Part of DC's 2013 "Forever Evil" crossover event, this issue of Justice League Dark poses a gripping question right on the cover: "Constantine — Last Man Standing?" The cover by Mikel Janín stages a chaotic, rain-soaked confrontation, with a battered Constantine sprawled in the foreground while Zatanna, Deadman, and a hulking, sword-wielding figure clash in the middle ground — all beneath the looming presence of an ominous Superman-like figure and additional dark figures against a blood-red sky. J. M. DeMatteis scripts "Tiny Evils," and with this many members of the supernatural team under siege, the stakes for DC's darker corner of the New 52 have rarely felt so urgent.
