Justice League Dark #15
Part of DC's 2019 "Year of the Villain: Evil Unleashed" initiative, this issue drops into the second chapter of "The Witching War" with a cover by Guillem March that crackles with purple lightning and barely contained chaos. Wonder Woman stands sword-raised at the center, clashing blades against a fiery, skull-masked figure while Zatanna, a blue-skinned swordsman, Swamp Thing, and a snarling simian press in from all sides — with a rogues' gallery of sinister faces looming ominously in the background above. It's a genuinely striking image that sets the tone for a team already stretched to its limits, brought to life by the interior work of Álvaro Martínez Bueno, Raúl Fernández, and Brad Anderson.
