Part 2 of the "Glory Bound" arc kicks off with a confident bang, as the star-spangled General Glory takes center stage — cape billowing, peace sign raised, and that wide grin suggesting he's exactly as thrilled to be here as you are to see him. Flanking him across a dramatic, cloud-streaked sky are familiar Justice League faces including Martian Manhunter, Beetle, Elongated Man, Ice, Fire, and a stern-looking Guy Gardner, assembled like a team that knows something big is coming. Adam Hughes and Karl Story's cover work gives the whole assembly a striking, poster-ready energy that makes this February 1991 issue hard to pass up.
