“Nitwits, Knuckleheads & Poozers!”

Two larger-than-life figures — a grimacing, red-haired Green Lantern and a wide-eyed, lumpy-faced alien — face off in uncomfortably close quarters, both letting out a shared "AHHH..." as a green energy construct crackles between them in what can only be described as a deeply undignified standoff. Adam Hughes's cover perfectly captures the comedic spirit that Giffen and DeMatteis brought to the League in 1989, leaning hard into absurdity over heroics. With a story titled "Nitwits, Knuckleheads & Poozers!", this issue promises exactly the brand of chaos the cover is already delivering.
