Justice League Adventures #8
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeTitled "New Moon!" and set against a star-filled lunar landscape with Earth hanging in the distance, this 2002 DC issue puts Superman in a tight spot — literally coiled in the crushing grip of a massive purple serpentine creature on the Moon's surface. Wonder Woman scrambles along a rocky ridge above while Green Lantern charges in from below, and the cover by Min S. Ku and Rob Leigh gives the whole scene a satisfying sense of scale and peril. Written by Mike W. Barr, it's a fun showcase of the animated-style Justice League tackling a very big threat in a very unusual setting.
