The cover alone tells a delightful story: a tiny, blue-suited Atom perches atop a massive, close-up Superman — standing right on the Man of Steel's hand near his ear — armed and ready for action at a scale that makes the contrast genuinely striking. That punny tagline, "Ear" He Comes: The Atom!!, sets a playful tone perfectly in keeping with the animated-style art from cover artist Rob Haynes. Issue #18 of Justice League Adventures pairs Stan Berkowitz's writing with Chris Jones and Dan Davis's interior art for what looks like a fun, size-themed adventure in 2003's DC animated universe.
