Justice League #24
Part of Scott Snyder's ambitious "New Justice" era, this issue bears one of the most unsettling cover images in the run: a bloodied, battle-worn Batman looms enormous over the foreground, his cape engulfing the composition while Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and other Leaguers appear battered and overwhelmed in his grip below. The blunt tagline — "Destroyed by the Dark Knight!" — makes the tension unmistakable, positioning Batman himself as a dire threat to the very team he helped found. Jorge Jiménez's cover art, colored by Alejandro Sánchez, delivers a visceral, off-kilter energy that makes issue #24 of "The Sixth Dimension" storyline genuinely hard to put down unread.
