Cinco años atrás, Batman y un alien están siendo perseguidos a través de la ciudad por la policía de Gotham; Linterna Verde interviene y salva a Batman de la policía pero el alien logra escapar, por lo que los dos forman una alianza incómoda con el fin de encontrarlo.
