Justice attends the Pitt-Aid concert where, in an effort to stop a paranormal named James from harassing Angie, he ends up in a fight with Seraph, who has made it his mission to protect paranormals. The battle causes a stampede of fleeing concert-goers that threatens to trample Angie. Justice uses his shield to protect her, leaving himself open to the police, who beat him into submission. Terrance Updike convinces Miriam Morse to work for the N.S.C.
