Just Married #67
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCharlton's long-running romance anthology returns with issue #67, and its split cover captures two very different visions of matrimony in 1969. The upper scene shows a swooning blonde bride in her veil and white gown, a "Happily Ever After" banner behind her and a couple of onlookers nearby, while the lower scene — titled "Love, Honor and Swing, Baby" — depicts a far more countercultural affair: a bearded groom in a purple hoodie exchanging vows before a Justice of the Peace, with a colorful crowd gathered around and a red-haired young woman at his side. It's a wonderfully of-its-era snapshot of romance in all its forms, with cover art by Nestor Olivera and Norman Nodel.
