“Day Of Reckoning”

In "Day Of Reckoning," Paul’s marriage to Linda is tested when he departs for Korea just weeks after their wedding. After receiving a telegram reporting him missing in action, Linda clings to a haunting sense that he’s still alive—her conviction growing stronger with each passing day, even as time drags on. Written by Joe Gill and illustrated by Charles Nicholas, with inks by Sal Trapani, this poignant story captures a wife’s quiet resilience through wartime uncertainty. The cover, by Dick Giordano and Vince Colletta, reflects the emotional weight of the moment.
