“The Beginning ...”

In "The Beginning ...", Stan Lee and John Buscema reimagine Superman’s origin with a fresh twist: Salden, a police officer from another world, is rocketed to Earth during a chase, landing alongside the criminal he’s pursuing. With powers beyond human limits, Salden teams up with publicist Lois Lane while the fugitive aligns with Reverend Darrk, leading to a high-stakes showdown that culminates in saving the kidnapped Chinese President. The story, illustrated with Buscema’s dynamic flair and colored by Chris Chuckry, features a cover by Buscema that captures the moment of Salden’s arrival on Earth.
