“The Golden Gourds Shriek Blood!”

In "The Golden Gourds Shriek Blood!", treasure hunters press White, a determined guardian, to reveal the hidden Temple of Gar—but when she refuses, an ancient protector emerges from the jungle to silence them. With the temple’s secrets now resting on her shoulders, Camilla steps into a role she never asked for. Written by Victor Ibsen and illustrated with bold, expressive art by Fran Hopper, with inks by Ruth Atkinson, this 1946 adventure blends suspense and myth in a story that lingers long after the final page. The cover, by Joe Doolin, captures the tension with a striking, atmospheric scene.
