In "Duel of the Congo Destroyers," Terry and Andy are captured in Alexandria by Nazi agents, but their escape sets off a high-stakes mission across the African frontier. With the help of Kismet and Vincent, they race to sink a German submarine before it can strike. Written by Pierre La Rue and illustrated by Bob Webb, this 1943 adventure blends wartime suspense with the rugged spirit of jungle pulp. The cover by Dan Zolnerowich captures the tension in bold, dramatic strokes.
