“Treasure-Tomb of the Ape-King”

In "Treasure-Tomb of the Ape-King," a 1950 jungle adventure from Fiction House, the deceitful archaeologist Remley and his men uncover a Viking helmet deep in the wilds—only to be ambushed by a band of long-lost Norse explorers. As the jungle closes in, past betrayals resurface when Remley’s own actions from years ago catch up with him, and Camilla steps in to help the Viking survivors turn the tide. Written by Victor Ibsen and illustrated by Ralph Mayo, this pulpy tale blends ancient mystery with jungle peril, all under a striking cover by Ralph Mayo.
