In the heart of the jungle, the overseers of the Hamiltons' mine uncover a hidden vein of gold, sparking a deadly plan to murder their employers and seize the mine. When the plot unfolds, it's Kaänga who stands between them and their treachery, using the wilds and his wits to stop the betrayal before it's too late.

In "null," Terry faces a treacherous ambush while transporting prisoners down the river, betrayed by an animal trader who’s colluded with his captives. With the jungle’s shadows hiding ancient secrets, Tabu must navigate a deadly web of deceit before the curse of the Mamba claims its next victim.

In "I'll Kill You, Camilla!" from Jungle Comics #104 (1948), Dr. Wertham, driven mad by jungle fever, turns on his expedition mates and schemes to seize the gold they stole from the Zulu Tombs with help from a lion cultist. When Camilla stops him, his obsession hardens into deadly vengeance—leading to a final, brutal confrontation with a black leopard.
