Jughead's Double Digest #22

The "Beware of Dog" sign on this cover tells you everything you need to know — except that the dog in question is clearly Hot Dog, who has apparently forgotten his own identity and is enthusiastically mauling Jughead instead of posing for the yard sign Jughead is trying to hammer into place. Stan Goldberg's cover art captures the chaos perfectly, with a wide-eyed Jughead barely keeping it together while his shaggy white companion leaps all over him in blissful, unhelpful excitement. This 1994 digest packs in plenty of Riverdale fun, including the story "Note-Worthy" with writing by Frank Doyle and art by Bob Bolling.
