Jughead takes a tumble in spectacular fashion on this September 1992 cover from Archie Comics, crash-landing skateboard-first into a pothole while his gear — knee pads, wristbands, and all — flies in every direction. Rex Lindsey's expressive linework captures our hero's battered but defiant expression perfectly, with Jughead grumbling that "they gotta do SOMETHING about the potholes in this town!" Inside, writer Terry Collins teams with Lindsey on "The Love Connection!" — which, knowing Jughead, promises its own brand of comedic chaos.
