“Lucky Lid”

In "Lucky Lid," Jughead and Archie take on a series of pizza deliveries to a mysterious Mrs. Webber—only for Jughead to devour each pie before the job is done. When Pop Tate finally reveals the truth, it’s not just a prank, but a clever scheme to keep Jughead’s appetite—and wallet—fully engaged. Written and drawn by Al Hartley, with inks by Jon D'Agostino and letters by Bill Yoshida, this 1970 classic features Dan DeCarlo’s iconic cover art and Rudy Lapick’s crisp inks.
