Jughead's talent for avoiding responsibility reaches new heights in this March 1966 Archie Series gem. The cover finds Jughead in bed — clearly having promised some eager young kids a game of spies — while a mysterious trench-coated figure with a tommy gun looms in the doorway, prompting Jughead to insist he is playing along as an undercover agent. Meanwhile, the chaos spills into the upper corner where more characters flee in a panic, perfectly capturing Jughead's gift for turning the simplest situation into wonderfully absurd comedy.
