Jughead #12

Mar 2017 · Archie · 3.99 USD

In Jughead #12, a high-stakes video game showdown turns the tables when Reggie unexpectedly claims victory, earning the title of King for a Day—much to Jughead’s disbelief. What starts as a lighthearted bet escalates as Jughead, determined to reclaim his crown, pushes for a rematch with ever-higher stakes, culminating in a challenge for King for a Month. Written by Ryan North and illustrated with sharp, expressive energy by Derek Charm, this issue captures the absurdity and competitive spirit of the Riverdale gang with a perfectly timed mix of humor and escalating stakes. The cover by Derek Charm perfectly captures the moment’s chaotic charm.
