Judy Canova writes a book about courage with help from her friend Pedro, a boy who tells her stories of his own brave deeds. When Judy attempts to paint her house as part of her book research, her mishaps create chaos, including accidentally painting the town and destroying property. At a fancy reception and banquet held in her honor, Judy's antics continue as she disrupts the event, ultimately serving alphabet soup to the guests and creating further comedic disaster.
