“The Fresh Princess of Bel-Air”

Jubilee steps into her own spotlight with this 2004 Marvel Age series, written by Robert Kirkman with art by Derec Donovan. Casey Jones's cover captures the fan-favorite mutant mid-motion — yellow jacket flying, dark hair streaming, and her signature plasma blasts bursting brilliantly from her fingertips against a bright, breezy background. It's a vibrant, energetic opener that feels perfectly suited to an all-ages adventure with Jubilee front and center.

Tired of her crazy life with the X-Men, Jubilee moves to California to live with her long lost aunt, Hope. She settles into her new life and begins to attend a normal high school. When the most popular boy at school pays too much attention to her, Jubilee gets into a fight with his girlfriend and is forced to become a peer counselor rather than be expelled.
