“JSA Strange Adventures Part One "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night..."”

From the files of the Justice Society of America comes this 2004 DC one-shot that channels the pulpy thrills of golden-age sci-fi adventure. John Watson's cover plunges two JSA heroes — Green Lantern Alan Scott and Mister Terrific — into a desperate battle against a massive, tentacled creature with a gaping maw of jagged teeth, energy blasts firing in both directions in a gripping standoff. Kevin J. Anderson, Barry Kitson, and Gary Erskine bring their talents to a story that promises exactly the kind of strange, imaginative excitement the title boldly advertises.
