Part of DC's 2006 Infinite Crisis crossover event, JSA #82 arrives with a cover by George Pérez that crackles with energy: Superman braces himself against a rearing, flame-wreathed black horse, while a white-clad, lance-wielding rider looms above him in a swirl of fire. Ghostly portrait faces — including Batman and a fair-haired woman — peer out from the background like echoes from the wings of a notebook page. With Paul Levitz writing and Pérez inking his own pencils alongside Bob Wiacek, "Ghost in the House" looks like a vivid, collision-packed chapter in a turbulent DC universe.
