Doctor Fate tries to convince Corrigan to not fear the power of the Spectre and to use him to help the other heroes. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman and the Atom are joined by Hawkman and Hawkgirl to battle Satanna, Sportsmaster, and Cyclotron. The investigation of the Flash and Johnny Thunder soon leads them to join the other heroes. Meanwhile at Starco headquarters, Hourman and Sandman encounter a new hero who gained his powers through Starco's experiments, while Alan strikes out on his own to investigate his friend's death.
