Josie and the Pussycats #9

The three Pussycats — dressed in their signature leopard-print outfits, cat ears, and chokers — strike a confident, united pose against a backdrop of concert flyers, with one member holding a bass guitar and another clutching drumsticks. Audrey Mok's cover art gives the trio a cool, modern energy that feels right at home in the Archie Comics renaissance of 2017. Writers Marguerite Bennett and Cameron Deordio's run continues here with issue #9, and if the band's assured expressions are any indication, the Pussycats are very much in their element.
