Josie and the Pussycats are scheduled to open a gig at the state fair where superstar Cheri Overwood is headlining. Josie becomes jealous of child prodigy Felicity Mountain who is also playing thinking the girl will steal any chance The Pussycats have of recording with Cheri. It turns out that Felicity idolizes the Pussycats but in a weird plot twist Alexander Cabot shows up with authorities to arrest the Pussycats for plagiarism.
