“Sock It To Who?.. (Whom?)”

In "Sock It To Who?.. (Whom?)" from Josie #36 (1968), the flamboyant musician Clyde Didit—aka "Orbit," complete with sunglasses and a wardrobe that defies fashion—sets his sights on Josie, much to Pepper’s dismay and Josie’s mixed feelings. As Clyde’s signature tune "Sock It To Me" echoes through the story, every attempt at romance ends with someone literally socking him—hard. Written by Frank Doyle and brought to life with Dan DeCarlo’s signature style and Rudy Lapick’s inks, the cover by DeCarlo and Lapick captures the chaos perfectly.
