Josie #27
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis charming 1967 Archie Series gem finds Josie and her pals — a redhead, a dark-haired girl in a yellow-striped top, and a blonde in a red dress — marching into the National Insurance Co. with a perfectly reasonable request: a policy to cover their dates, diary, and rock 'n' roll collection. The bewildered bespectacled agent behind the desk looks like he's never had quite this kind of client before, and the cover gag, rendered with Dan DeCarlo and Vincent DeCarlo's clean, expressive linework, captures that irresistible mid-'60s teen spirit. A fun snapshot of the series at its most playful.
