Jonah Hex #46

In "Death in the Grass!", Jonah and Mei seek shelter at a frontier hotel, only to be turned away due to Mei’s race. When a group of racist thugs targets them, Jonah is injured in a wagon crash, forcing Mei to leave him behind to fetch a doctor. Struggling with a worsening back injury, Jonah must fend off the bandits alone—until a surprising turn of events leaves him and Mei with a chance to start anew, buying the doctor’s house and finding a fragile refuge in the wilderness.
