John Wayne Adventure Comics #4

This is an anthology issue featuring three stories. "Panther Man" involves a mysterious figure called the Panther Man who engages in combat with characters in a Western setting, including action involving fire and pursuit through mountainous terrain. "Double-Danger" depicts a scheme involving the Perry Gang and mail wagon robbery, with characters discussing a buried treasure that may or may not actually exist. "Guns of Justice" involves a contest to determine who will be chosen as "the man of evil" in Milford City, with candidates including One-Eye Printz, Solitaire Smith, Stumpy Havemyer, Bet-a-Thousand Gates, and Almond Jones, as an artist is recruited to help identify the embodiment of evil.
