In "Flash Flood," John Wayne must rescue a woman trapped by a catastrophic dam burst, evading looters and battling rising floodwaters while working to reach safety. The issue also includes "Cochise: Apache Chief," which recounts how Cochise, wrongly accused of a ranch raid by a cavalry officer, declared war on white settlers and spent twelve years raiding stagecoaches, wagon trains, and frontier settlements before retreating to his stronghold in the Dragon Mountains of Arizona.
