From Harvey Comics' June 1959 run, this issue puts the rotund Humphrey front and center — literally airborne — as he rockets skyward off a Joe Palooka Trampoline in a spectacular, tumbling arc, while a lean figure below watches the chaos unfold near the Joe Palooka Training Camp cabin. The tagline "Humphrey Blasts Off!" says it all, capturing the cheerful, slapstick energy that made this series such a delight. It's a wonderfully lively ten-cent package of comedy and camaraderie, right at home in Harvey's warm, all-ages lineup of 1959.
