Jodocus de barbaar #3

The third adventure of Jodocus the Barbarian plunges our hapless hero into nautical peril, as he rows a small wooden boat while enormous pink tentacles rise from the sea around him — and a very alarmed blonde woman is hoisted helplessly into the air by one of them. Marq van Broekhoven's cartooning is full of rubbery energy and comic timing, capturing both Jodocus's strained determination and the sheer absurdity of the threat in "De Schrik van de Onderzee" (Terror of the Deep). A fun, lighthearted slice of barbarian comedy that proves the ocean can be just as dangerous — and ridiculous — as any dungeon.
