JLA: Classified #25
Part four of Steve Englehart's "A Game of Chance" arc arrives with a cover by Mike Zeck and Jerry Ordway that crackles with tension — a massive, anguished female figure looms over a battered Aquaman collapsed in swirling golden energy, while a costumed figure leaps into the chaos behind him. The taglines "A Game of Chance!" and "All in Danger!" set the stakes perfectly for what looks like a team pushed to its limits. Tom Derenick and Mark Farmer handle the interior art, making this 2006 entry a strong chapter in one of DC's most enjoyable anthology series.
