JLA: Classified #17
The cover of JLA: Classified #17 (2006) grabs attention immediately, with José Luis García-López's artwork depicting a fierce mid-air clash between Wonder Woman and a seemingly out-of-control Flash, debris and machinery exploding around them amid a chaotic urban backdrop. The tagline "Speed Force Fever!" hints at something deeply wrong with the Scarlet Speedster, making Wonder Woman's defensive stance feel all the more urgent. Gail Simone continues her "Hypothetical Woman" arc here, and with García-López's dynamic linework setting the stage, this second chapter looks like a genuinely compelling team-vs-team showdown.
