Secretary of Defense Luthor is selling weapons and secrets to the Germans to escalate World War 1 while helping Diana of the conquered Themyscria. He creates a deathray to defeat the Germans and land him the Presidency. General Jordan discovers this after the Germans destroy London with a nuclear bomb. Before Luthor kills him, Jordan orders his ring to bring back the Superman. As the Germans fire on New York, Clark stops the rockets and Diana destroys the deathray sacrificing herself. After the war, the League of Justice convinces the nations to form the Justice League of Nations.
