Scotty, Sleuth Hound
8 pp · Humor

When the president of Houndville's bank loses his bones—and it turns out the whole town has been robbed of theirs—detective Scotty springs into action to track down the culprit. The clever sleuth sniffs out Bad Andrew and his gang of bird dogs, but the crooks prove slippery enough to escape into the air, forcing Scotty to call in Houndville's Flying Squadron for backup. It's a chase across rooftops and through the streets as Scotty closes in on the bone-napping scheme and the ransom scheme behind it.

Butty and Fatty
10 pp · Humor

Butty and Fatty work to save Grandpappy's hotel from the Rubberman, a mischievous visitor who's been devouring everything rubber in sight—tires, heels, and the patience of every guest. When their schemes to trap him go hilariously sideways, the two find themselves caught up in an escalating chain of chaos involving a malfunctioning elevator, an oil discovery, and more flying furniture than any hotel should survive. It's a wacky race against mayhem where the real question isn't whether they'll stop the Rubberman, but what'll be left standing when the dust settles.

The Lovable Brat's Adventure on the Moon
8 pp

Hortense floats away on a cloud during an eclipse and finds herself on the moon, where a confused lighthouse keeper mistakes her for a pig and the moonlight mysteriously goes out. With help from the constellations Gemini and Leo, she embarks on a wild rescue mission across the lunar landscape—complete with a cottage made of cheese, a frozen Milky Way, and a dramatic tumble through space—to restore the light and get back home.

The Mahogany Butler and the Three Wishes
10 pp · Humor

In this whimsical tale set during the reign of Good King Fairweather, the Mahogany Butler Jasper receives three wishes delivered in canary-blue envelopes—which grow up to love him dearly. When a scheming red-headed Corn Doctor from Corny-copia learns of the three wishes and sets out to claim them with the help of the Diamond Studded Duchess De Kay, Jasper must use all his wits and a cleverly packed idea to win back what matters most to him. Packed with George Carlson's signature absurdist humor and impossible logic, this ten-page romp sends our hero across creeks and oceans in a race against time and marmalade.
