An anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Gauncy" depicts a duck attempting to go swimming but repeatedly finding his pool drained by a thirsty dog, eventually learning arithmetic instead. Another story follows a little girl who sneaks into a toy store window display, escapes to play with toys, gets lost in the winter landscape, and is eventually found by her mother. "Aunty Saves the Day" shows a resourceful aunt who intervenes when a man causes trouble at a picnic—speeding through a gate in a car and colliding with a carnival ride—and then offers him employment and hospitality, turning the situation around with kindness and homemade ice cream.

A Fair Weatherman's helper clock runs down just as a cuckoo bird crashes in with a mysterious jewelled key, setting off a chaotic adventure across strange lands and peculiar encounters. The Weatherman must track down the key-bearing cuckoo to deliver the King's weather report in time, facing off against a wicked magician disguised as a mill who schemes to control all the weather for himself. Full of whimsical mishaps and magical chaos, this tale spins toward a climax where friendship and quick thinking prove more powerful than dark magic.
