Jim Dandy is a boy who discovers a magic formula that gives him extraordinary strength, which two snoopy adults attempt to steal after witnessing his incredible feats. When Jim realizes they are after his secret, he hides the formula and eventually buries it, vowing to keep it hidden even if threatened with jail time. In a secondary story, "Bammy Boozle and His Wonderful Tricks," a traveling medicine man and his companion encounter various comedic mishaps while selling their traveling medicine show, including traffic troubles and run-ins with the law.
