Jesse James and his men rob a train and encounter a lady outlaw, then head toward the ghost town of Tonoma with a sizeable sum of money on a mission to spend the night. A military patrol, commanded by an officer named Bill Skipper, pursues the bandits into the desert with orders to stop them before they reach Bender's Hole. The patrol tracks down Jesse James and his gang, and after a brief struggle, successfully apprehends them.
