This issue is an anthology containing two Western stories. "Butch Cassidy" follows the outlaw and the Sundance Kid as they seek recognition after becoming famous across the western ranges and into South America, eventually clashing with Spanish cattle kings before meeting their end. A second story involves Sheriff Tom Wilson investigating an Indian guide's killing with the help of Joe Flagg and Bruckner, uncovering a lost Spanish gold mine in Superstition Canyon that has claimed the lives of outlaws and is said to be guarded by the spirit of an old Spaniard. The final story features a man named Cactus Kent being captured and held prisoner, leading to a tense standoff in town where vigilantes threaten to lynch him before the situation is resolved.
