Hermann's post-apocalyptic series continues with this 1981 Danish edition from Interpresse, collecting the story "Ørkenens fribyttere" — "The Desert Freebooters." Hermann handles both writing and art throughout, bringing his distinctive European ligne claire sensibility to a rugged, sun-scorched world of survival and wandering outcasts. A fine entry point into one of Belgian comics' most compelling dystopian visions of the early 1980s.
