Issue nine of Dynamite's mature-readers series arrives with a striking near-monochromatic cover by Tim Bradstreet — Jennifer Blood fills the frame, dark-haired and steely-eyed, leveling a pistol directly at the viewer with cool, unflinching composure. The muted, almost sepia palette gives the image the tension of a noir crime photograph, making that blood-red title lettering hit all the harder. Al Ewing and Eman Casallos carry the interior action in "The Sound of the Atom Splitting," promising another sharp chapter in this uncompromising series.
