The split-composition cover by Tim Bradstreet says it all — a single woman's face divided between cool shadow and warm, blood-red light, her hands gripping a pistol on one side while the other hints at a quieter, more ordinary existence. That duality is the whole tension of Jennifer Blood distilled into one arresting image. Al Ewing and Kewber Baal bring their take on that double life to issue #7 with the evocatively titled "Yesterday, When I Was Mad," and this Dynamite series continues to look like one of 2011's most visually striking mature-readers titles.
