Dynamite's mature-readers series reaches its sixteenth issue with a cover by Tim Bradstreet that perfectly captures the series' tense, noir atmosphere — Jennifer Blood stands half-lit against venetian blind shadows, pistol raised and expression coolly composed, a skull motif and clock face lurking in the warm amber background behind her. Al Ewing continues the story with artist Eman Casallos, as the chapter title "Neither Tarnished Nor Afraid" hints at a protagonist who faces whatever's coming on her own terms.
